We've all heard of actors or celebrities going to other countries to make scratch on the side. This was one of the focuses of the movie Lost in Translation, and generally speaking most people who do it like to keep it a bit hush hush so as not to lose credibility in their main markets (i.e. look like they can't get enough work at home). So it caught our eye when we saw that DJ Jared, apparent resident DJ at 1 Oak, Marquee, and Mansion, is temporarily leaving his wheelhouse to head to Boston and play at Venu. So are they not paying you enough in NYC Jared, or was the offer to good to resist?
