Kenmare. It really embodied that "downtown" energy that most of my friends feel nostalgic about. You would always run into someone you knew, spot some A-List celebrity or the lead singer of your favorite band. The DJs / music curation is what made it. A mix of Joy Division, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, David Bowie etc. No rap or top 40s. The spot didn't stay open long probably because it was too fun!
