It's all too easy to forget about all the amazing things you have access to when living in New York. Case in point? The community of cool jazz clubs in the West Village. The king of them all, Smalls is a destination meant for every bucket list. Just be sure to get there early as grabbing a seat in a session can be pretty intense. Like, scrambling for a spot on the LIRR Friday cannonball to Montauk kind of intense.
