Have The Met To Yourself
One of our favorite little known facts is that on Fridays and Saturdays, the Met stays open until 9pm. And since that's definitely past the bedtime of most tourists, you'll be wandering the galleries sans the usual crowds. Not to mention that from 5 - 8pm, you can enjoy the particularly sophisticated pleasure of listening to a string quartet.
