Students are protesting, cults are cool again, and there's a sense of revolution in the air. The 1960s are totally back.
Apparently, so is Woodstock.
Relive the summer of love at The Woodstock, a new cocktail concept opening in the Meatpacking District next week. Full of innovative (and affordable!) drinks, curated pizza pies, and original artwork by the trippy king himself, Salvador Dalí, the spot encourages "Good spirits only," and we're sure it won't be hard to drum some up.
The watering hole is the brainchild of James Morrissey, whose multi-floor East Village haunt, The VNYL, has been going strong with its flashy '70s vibes and music curated by none other than Adrian Grenier.
While word is still out on whether this hippie hot spot will boast a celebrity music master, we do know that it will be located right near the entrance of the High Line, so expect your summertime strolls to turn into groovy nightcaps.
