Fashion and philanthropy came together on September 9 to benefit the Twin Towers Orphan Fund at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The New York Fame held a Fashion Show Charity Event to benefit the Twin Towers Orphan Fund, which provides educational scholarships to children who lost one or both parents on 9/11. The event featured emerging designers with runway shows featuring Nicolena, Haus of Estrada, Amy Kirchen, Reco Chapple, and Korto Momolu, and a silent auction. The event tickets sales and silent auction proceeds went toward providing as many $20,000 scholarships for children as possible.

Whether the hipsters wanted it or not, the first ever Fashion Week party in Brooklyn took place Saturday night at OPM Restaurant. Guests partied the night away with plenty of drinks (notice the many bottle of Grey Goose floating throughout the album) and special performances. Apparently Michael Jackson came back, white gloved and all, for a few Thriller hits.
