The show included a multicultural group of models; Bethann Hardison, Pat Cleveland, Alva Chinn, Billie Blair, Norma Jean Darden, Barbara Jackson, China Machado, Ramona Saunders and Amina Warsuma wearing the collections of Burrows, Bill Blass, Oscar de la Renta, Halston and Anne Klein and represented American collections alongside celebrated French couturiers, making it a huge breakthrough moment for American fashion.
