What kind of night can partygoers expect if they’re heading here?
Again, since we’re very much in our inception, we’ll get to know ourselves better as time goes on. But tonight, I’ve got two former Beatrice Inn DJs playing, so they’re giving it music spin of a little bit of everything. On Wednesday, we’ve got great house DJs, so I’m going to kind of mix up the music programming so that there’s something for everybody. But I feel the vibe you’ll always get is a sense of intimacy, comfort, and fun.
I noticed a lot of really cool artwork around the space. Could you elaborate on those pieces?
Skull Nightlife [by Yana Tara of 2 Angry Birds] is like a very typical New York narrative. Boy goes to club, meets cool punk chick, fucks her, then all she wants is Chanel bags, and she gives him a headache.
