Musician & Visual Artist Gianni Lee Takes On His New Medium

I like to look at painting as a form of communication. The only way you can communicate better is to have conversations with other people. You then evolve and progress in your communication. That leads to greater conversations because you remain a student. You apply what you’ve learned. I can take a look at a combination of fabrics and that can directly inspire me in my paintings. I have used my process for song making in my paintings. I like to work on various songs at one time (I’m all over the place with it honestly), that directly affects the way I paint. I think the most genius thing you can do is use a process from another field and apply it to the next one.
