This is a bizarre but wonderful place that's been open since the '50s, and it has that untouched 50's feel to it. It conforms a little now to the atmosphere of the East Village. But a place like this is so marvelous - it's where you'd go have a martini in the East Village, and feel a little old school, without feeling divey.
