How do you hope this event benefits the animal community in NYC?
I think Dylan's Candy BarN is raising awareness to change the stigma that shelter animals are not good. By having the actual dogs that are up for adoption at events at our Dylan's Candy Bar stores, people can literally see for themselves that animals from shelters are just as beautiful, loving, healthy and clean as animals from pet stores and breeders. We also have trainers at our events and on our website that can lend extra tips to ensure the owner knows all the right methods of caring for their pet so it's an easy transition.
