Perry and Romneycare
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney seemed to be more polished and poised after New Jersey Governor Chris Christie endorsed him as presidential nominee for the Republican Party a day prior to the debate. Romney made sure to put as much distance in his plan from "Obamacare" as possible, but defended his decision to implement a statewide health insurance plan whilst governor. In response to Perry's questioning of his decision, Romney said,
"We have less than 1 percent of our kids who are uninsured. You have a million kids."
At least this time, no one went after Romney's religion. [
