What's On Samantha Sheinson's Holiday Wish List?

How do you celebrate the holidays?
In normal times my friends and I throw an annual holiday party in the city, but this year it will be more of a Zoom gathering than an in-person event. 

My husband and I typically celebrate the holidays with our families by returning to our hometowns. We celebrate Hanukkah with my family in Philadelphia and celebrate Christmas with my husband's family in Charlotte, by way of Tennessee.

Where will you be this season?
My husband and I will be in St. Barth's this holiday season. We were there one year ago for the first time and loved it. We were encouraged by their strict 3-day negative PCR testing requirement to enter. We look forward to simply spending some time outside on a beach and getting out of our apartment!

Are you a last minute or way in advance shopper?
I consider myself a mix of both. I'll stock up on gifts I know friends and family will love early in the season and mix in some last minute finds as I get closer to the holidays.

What's the best gift you've ever given?
I gifted my sister a pair of pave diamond studs with my niece's (her daughter's) initials. Being that we live in different cities, it's comforting to know she always carries something I gave her, symbolizing her love for her daughter and my love for my niece. 

What's on your list to get?
Anything from my dear friend and very talented jeweler, Briony Raymond. 

Her namesake pieces are beautifully designed and crafted to near perfection.

What's on your list to give?
If only I knew! Everyone in my family is so hard to buy for! 

I did however buy the sweetest curly lamb stuffed animal for my baby niece. 

I can't wait to watch her cuddle up to its snuggly faux fur.
