I love to go uptown, be fancy, and act like I don’t live in a box full of clothes. I usually make the rounds through the Madison Avenue shops to scope out Christmas presents, stop at The Carlyle for a martini or three, and finish up with a Polo Bar dinner on Sunday night when it’s a bit more quiet. The one thing I absolutely avoid like the plague is that stretch of 5th Avenue where tourists mosey along, so if you must, must see the Rockefeller Center tree, make sure you view it from high above at The Rainbow Room.
