1 Tequila, 2 Tequila, 3 Tequila, Floor! The Best Mexican Restaurants To Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Although we've all made up some pretty questionable reasons to drink, Cinco de Mayo is totally legit. Luckily we've rounded up a guide to the best places to celebrate.

La Esquina is a favorite no matter what day of the year it is, but their prices don't hurt your wallet and allow more of your budget to be spent on tequila.

If you're in search of a liquid dinner, Barrio Chino has over 50 kinds of agave liquor and a list of house special mixed drinks. Their spicy margaritas seem to be a crowd favorite.

For a more authentic atmosphere Mole is the place to go. A few warnings however: 1. Their menu is extensive, you may want to check it out before you go. 2. They only take cash. 3. It will most likely be packed, but they do take reservations.

A Corona is a girl's best friend

A rowdier celebration can be found at Tortilla Flats. House Rules include "Please no pepper playing", "The first shall be the last and the last shall be the first", and "No dancing on the tables". Game on.

Bottoms Up!

For a celebration on the go, make a pit stop at Calexio, featured in NYMag's 20 Best Food Carts. Anything off the menu is refreshing(ly cheap).
