Sorry SoulCycle, Uplift Studios may soon be the trendiest place to work out in Manhattan. Bringing together two of the best things ever--getting skinny and getting drunk-- Uplift Studios offers a $40 class called "Raise the Bar," which is a traditional workout class followed by unlimited liquor at the studio.
The class comes in a few variations, including "Workout and Wine," "Cardio and Cocktails," "Tighten and Tequila," and "Bootcamp, Bloodies and Brunch," but $40 for a workout AND some after-class boozing sounds like a great deal!
Uplift Studios also offers traditional workout classes like Pilates and Zumba without the alcohol, but the founders of Uplift Studios believe in the communal aspect of getting together after a workout and having a drink.

According to the Huffington Post, the Flatiron studio, which just opened last Sunday,
"In addition to a bar...has snacks, ice tea, Wi-Fi service, phone chargers and a bathroom with every girlie amenity one could want. Soon, Uplift will start pairing workout classes with events like jewelry trunk shows, book readings and talks by financial advisers -- all, of course, over wine."
There's nothing like adding a few cocktails to anything to entice people to come...Uplift Studios sure knows the way to a girl's heart.
