Starting January 19th, the Metropolitan Museum of Art will be opening its doors up early at 8:30 AM for a small daily group of participants in The Museum Workout. A collaboration between contemporary American dance company Monica Bill Barnes & Company, and writer/illustrator Maira Kalman, the interactive, physical experience will have you working your way through the museum's galleries, connecting with the art through a continuous series of exercises and light stretching.
All to a soundtrack of Disco and Motown hits, of course. Tickets start at just $35. And for a crazy, only in New York kind of experience such as this, that's basically the same price as a SoulCycle class, you'd have to be silly not to take advantage.
Talk about getting sculpted.
