Your School's Resources
Most, if not all, schools across America have mental health resources that you can utilize if you're struggling. Most schools have counselors who are able to speak with any student at anytime about absolutely anything at all. It may feel daunting to open up to someone you may not know well about something personal, but speaking openly and honestly about your feelings can be incredibly helpful. Additionally, college's mental health resources can be found on their websites, typically under "student services."
College can be stressful, it's a time of change and full-on independence. With this change can come great anxiety and the potential for developing depression. It is crucial that you reach out for help if you're feeling hopeless. In addition to typical mental health centers on campus, there are also often late night help lines that you can call to speak anonymously about anything. Speaking to someone and getting advice can be extremely validating and liberating. Take advantage of your school's resources because your mental health always comes first.
