Green Juice

While making her kids lunch (gluten-free toast with almond butter and honey, or eggs with sliced avocado, or a bowl of cut-up apples and berries with coconut yogurt), she'll sip on a green juice of celery, cucumbers, half of a red or green apple, turmeric, ginger, lemon juice and sometimes kale or beets. If it's that time of the month, she drinks a Vitamin C and iron rich concoction made from beets and lemon.
