What is CBD?

CBD is an anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety healing Cannabidiol. It is a part of my daily wellness regimen and crucial in reducing my anxiety and inflammation in my body. CBD feels like a warm hug, a ray of sunshine on a bed of sand, and a pink fluffy cloud. CBD changes the chemical reaction in your brain (neurotransmissions) to produce serotonin when receiving conflict based information.
Typically people with anxiety, depression or mood disorders have impaired 5-HT1A receptors. CBD increases the function of these receptors resulting in a decrease of anxiety, a better mood, an increase in cognitive function, and memory retention.
When I was 14 my sister Phaedra Anestassia suffered from a grand mal seizure where I witnessed her die and come back to life. I first heard of CBD in the context of Charlotte’s Web Hemp, which was named after Charlotte who was an epileptic in Hospice care and went from 500 seizures a week to 2, after integrating a non hallucinogenic form of marijuana we know as full spectrum CBD in her feeding tube. CBD continues to be offer relief to those who live with seizure disorders, along with those looking to maintain an a higher form of well-being.
