[Charlotte Muhl and Sean Lennon play dress up] Ever have one of those moments when you look around and you realize everyone in the room has a famous mom or dad? And you're just that girl wearing scraps of fur and leather, in an outfit that resembles an extras costume from "Where The Wild Things Are" (and not necessarily in a good way)? No? Well, that's pretty much what happened at Sean Lennon's Halloween Party this past Saturday, where everyone was celebrating his release of his score "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead."
The score, came out last week world wide. The film, with the same title, will be coming out next year. The party was held in the decked out Woolworth downtown. The hosts... Jordan Galland, Eric Adolfsen, Waris Ahluwalia, Tarajia Morell, Rosson Crow and Abigail Lorick. The crowd... cool, chic, and lots from the grown up Gossip Girl set i.e. born and bred New Yorkers, including my personal host, Cristina Civetta.
Other guests at The Wooly that night included Evan Dando, filmmaker Chiara Clemente, Opening Ceremony co-owner Humberto Leon, DJs Arthuer Fornier, Alexander Dexter Jones and Jake Hoffman, Mary Charteris, and Daisy Lowe. As an added bonus, everyone was treated to a surprise performance by The GOAST (an acronym standing for: Ghost Of A Sabber Tooth Tiger) made up of Sean Lennon and girlfriend Charlotte Muhl.
Famous daughter or not, this was one party that was easy to enjoy.
