Be wary of your surroundings & trust your gut

If you walk into a psychic's shop (which also might double as their home), take a look around. Most psychics will keep on some soothing background music and have sage burning to make you feel at ease. They also usually have tons of healing crystals on the table they perform their readings on, and some have crosses and spiritual relics strategically placed throughout their space. Take everything in.

If you’ve taken in your surroundings and something doesn’t sit right with you, including the psychic themselves, book it out of there. Thank them for their time but let them know you just don’t feel very comfortable with the experience. Believe me, there’s a difference between nervousness and a plain bad feeling. Don’t mistake the two.
