The IRL Carrie Bradshaw? How Caroline Vazzana Went From Fashionista To Fabulous Author

It’s actually kind of a funny story - the book came first which not a lot of people know! In 2015 when I was working at InStyle, I started writing down stories and things that happened, and I basically had three chapters. I let one of my friends read it and she said, "This is awesome you need to keep writing!" After I signed with a literary agent, she and I worked together before pitching it - but she’s the one who told me to start the website about career advice, so by the time we announce the book I'd already have a brand, and it wouldn't feel random or out of left field. Now I have this all-around brand of Making It in Manhattan, and I've gotten to see people fall in love with the site and the content.
