What's your favorite room in the apartment?
We have a one bedroom so it's not like we have a ton of options but I love the living room. We splurged on a couch (from Restoration Hardware) because we didn't want something uncomfortable to sit on and also because I know my friends will sleep over a lot (and have) and this gives them a solid place to crash. We also have an amazing blanket from our last trip to India on it.
Plus we were able to decorate it together. We have a lot of art and furniture pieces, like the Virgil x Ikea rug and the Virgil x Ikea chair. The art was done by Scott Campbell as a gift, so it's very prominently featured on my wall (which my mom doesn't love because it's a giant grim reaper with a water color rose painted on it) but we love it and that's what matters. We have this shelf that I built (very proud of that) and it has all of our sentimental stuff. It has the mistletoe from when Mohar and I first kissed, it's got my KAWS toys. It has a lot of our books. Both of our art. My Tony Hawk signed skateboard. All of that stuff lives on there!
