What do you tell aspiring designers who are trying to make it in the industry?

E: It's all about endurance. I was a CFDA Incubator advisor a few years back and got to spend a lot of time with other aspiring designers. It was fun to re-live some of our early years through them. I usually tell them to work hard and stay committed and try and find someone who you trust that can help on the business side. Most designers aren't good at running a business. I also always recommend focusing on deliveries it’s probably one of the most singularly important pieces of a design business. P: Ha! Get ready for a ride. You have to love it like there's no tomorrow because it's tons of work and there are no guarantees. Keep your eyes and ears open  -learn as much as you can, be humble but driven, and get a business partner! [Photo via @themrspowers]
