How would you describe your personal style?
How would you describe your personal style? Tell me a little bit about how that plays into your designs.
My personal style is that I tend to dress it up in a way, and then I'll dress it down in a quirky, cute way by wearing a flat shoe or things like that. I have a sense of humor with the way I dress. I like to mix it up with maybe polka dots, lace or velvet. There is always a kind of a very tailored, slightly military slant to my coats and everything. I just like the detailing and tailoring to be very precise. So you know, if I am wearing a coat, I like it to be nipped in, and if I am wearing a dress, I like it to show off my waist. I think that does show itself in the collection. It's a very tailored approach to what we do. It's not urban. It's refined and sophisticated, and I'd say that that's the way I dress too.
