You just produced you first original song “Day and All Night,” which has been on heavy rotation with us. How did that come to be? I was approached by Stuart Weitzman to make that track. They came to me, and then I partnered with Andrew Watt, who’s arguably one of the best musicians I’ve ever met. I originally hadn’t found him, so I was thinking I could do it myself and was pressuring myself to learn Ableton and production, which was not happening in the fast paced time I needed. When I met Andrew, we made the song in 3 days, which I thought was pretty good. And the voice you sampled is Kate Moss right? Yeah, she’s the feature in the campaign. Stuart Weitzman produced the commercial so they had the vocal. They were like 'do you think you could make a cool song with this vocal?’ So they gave us the vocal and we listened to it forever.
