Why: Sunday at the Met Program will host a conversation on Glamour and Charles James with Designer Zac Posen and Curator Jan Glier Reeder. Fashion designer Zac Posen and Charles James exhibition co-curator Jan Glier Reeder discuss James’s glamour, technique, and enduring impact on fashion in general, and on Posen in particular. The program is held in conjunction with The Costume Institute exhibition Charles James: Beyond Fashion, which is on view at the Met through August 10, 2014. The event will be held in The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium and is free with museum admission.
