Why: The Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation (CCBF) is hosting its seventh annual Contemporary Art Auction at Phillips. The evening will feature after-hour access to Phillips, a cocktail reception and the opportunity to browse and bid on CCBF's diverse collection of paintings, photographs and sculptures. Proceeds from this event directly support the Division of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Art featured in the auction will include works by artists Guido Argentini, Wayne Gonzales, Peter Halley, Candida Hofer, Zhang Huan, Michele Oka Doner, Richard Pettibone, Richard Serra, Massimo Vitali, Richard Wathen, Lawrence Weiner and more.
