What's On George Mickum's Holiday Wish List?

George Mickum is the ultimate man about town.

Where there's an exclusive party, an exciting new hot spot, or just a gaggle of fabulous people gathered, you'll no doubt find his perfectly coiffed blonde self bouncing about.

So, curious what's on the uptown aesthete's holiday wish list this year?

Uh yeah, us too!

How do you celebrate the holidays?  
I celebrate with family, with lots of bubbles, festivities, and laughs. My grandmother, Daubie hosts the extended family for games nights, long dinners, and often light caroling. I also always make an effort to volunteer with the homeless this time of year. I feel so lucky I have the luxury to do so, giving back and spreading joy are a corner stone of the holidays for me.

Where will you be this season?  
I will be at my grandmother's in Pennsylvania, but then I will whip down to the Bahamas with friends. 

I am very excited, I feel like hoards of my crew will be down there. So that's a great formula for success! Friends and the sun!

Are you a last-minute or way-in-advance shopper?  
I am very mixed... some things I purchased ages ago but Christmas is a little more than a week away and I still have the majority of giving list to get through. When inspired, I prefer to get it done as early as possible. I simple despise paying for rush shipping!

What's the best gift you've ever received?
This is such a hard question, but I love love getting furs around the holidays. It simply screams festive, and keeps me warm, decadent and practical.  

Who's the toughest to shop for on your list?
My father is always a tough shop, but this year I am very confident he going to really enjoy what I picked out for him this year.  

What's your go-to hostess gift?
Anything from my friend Stephanie Nass's holiday collection. Love her candles, and her napkins.  

Favorite spots around town to pick up something in person?
Bergdorfs is the best! It has practically everything and their holiday shop is precious. It really puts me in the holiday mood. 

My family has a little tradition where after Thanksgiving we go and each pick out a new ornament for my tiny tree.  

What's on your list to get?  
This year is tough, I am feeling so ultimately blessed. However I do really want that fancy new iron, the Reliable 5000IS/2150IR Professional Ironing Station. I would really love a tiara... not too particular. Something vintage Cartier would resonate well. One of my good friends and I are in talks about having a cocktail book of our crew photographed in tiaras. So it will be a practical gift. Platform Mini Uggs have been on my list for a few months now. Sold out everywhere, hopefully Santa can come through. World peace is always go-to ask!

What's on your list to give?
I love to give gifts, so a shorter list would what am I not giving. I think I am most excited to give an underprivileged family of 4 presents! Lands End slippers, and matching pajamas. As well as some game system I don't understand.
