I love emails from readers! Even if I'm not good at getting RIGHT back, they are the best, and anyone with a blog or site will *confirm this. Below an exchange I feel post worthy from a reader I am making anonymous and his quest for a night out on the town. Please tell him what he should have done if you think he missed something!

Hey Rachelle,
I really like your site, and was wondering if you could offer some advice. I have a friend coming in town tonight who is into checking out hot clubs/lounges/bars. He is from LA and wants to shmooze with the celebs here in nyc. I could really care less, but anywaaaay I was hoping you could tell me where to try and hit up tonight. I saw that tenjune has a party on tuesdays, and I know certain places are better on tuesdays than other nights. Also if there are any special events going on I would appreciate.
Take Care, Chris

Well, here it goes (for better or for worse)
My friend Justin drove into the city and we met up at around 10 around the corner from marquee. Now with our current economic climate, the sensible solution was for us to sit in Justin's car and make rum and cokes until a sufficient buzz had settled in. After catching up with my best friend who is a writer/director in LA we walked over to bungalow 8 for our first drink. And lucky us, we were the only people there!! In fact we walked in as they just opened so one and done there.
A cab ride later we are down in front of Tenjune. Big line and lots of people hovering make us wander around till we go across the street to gaansevoort. We go up for a drink and on our way out get harrassed by two old horny drunk women saying things that old drunk horny women should just keep to themselves. Moving on....
We head back up to marquee where they try and rip off us at the door, so we laugh at them and start to walk out. The bouncer lets us just go in which was nice and 30 seconds later we are finally at a party!! Not that marquee is totally my scene, but when i'm drunk I like to go dance so there was no shortage of poppin and lockin that night. 2 hour later and we roll out of there and head home where I have a meeting to wake up for in 4 hours.
The End :)
I love it! The only suggestion I would make would be to END the night at Bungalow not begin it (though who am I to say that after starting her own night there last night?)
Anyway does anyone have any suggestions for our friend the next time he's here for a night out?
*It's even more fun meeting your readers/commenters in real life as I experienced first hand last night
