Not all dumplings have to be savory. We consider daifuku to be dumplings, given that they are the same principle: a carbohydrate wrapper encasing a filling. In the case of Minamoto, the fillings are sweet with a chewy mochi wrapping. Prices are on the higher end for these Japanese confections, but it's worth it.
