Now that all of us have graduated from White Castle and whatever Burger King means by their "burger shots," the slider is the great guilt-free burger. Small and sleek in design in concept, it has turned an American classic into chances for chefs to show innovation. Kimchi sliders. Wagyu beef sliders. Pork belly sliders. It's essentially turned into a glorified meatball on a bun. Who has the best? The Little Owl in the Village has a gravy meatball slider made with a blend of beef, pork, veal, and pecorino cheese.
