Eleven Madison Park, the fine-dining restaurant that made waves by overhauling its menu to feature all-plant-based-everything cuisine, is sweetening the deal this month with the launch of a limited-time bakery spotlighting their decadent vegan treats.
Helmed by Executive Pastry Chef Laura Cronin, the "Bake It Nice" pop-up will debut on Saturday, April 29th, and run every Saturday throughout the month of May, located just outside the iconic eatery.
Chef Laura has earned acclaim for her ability to perfect vegan versions of favorites from EMP's beloved bread and pastry program, using innovative techniques and ingredients.
The bakery pop-up will feature a few of her delicious plant-based creations, including Chocolate and Sesame Croissants (filled with a double chocolate and sesame ganache and a toasted sesame paste), and Strawberry and Rhubarb Croissants (with almond frangipane, strawberry and rhubarb jam, finished with a strawberry crumble), alongside coffee from Devocion.
The pop-ups will kick off at 11 am with a limited number of each pastry, so you'll definitely want to get there before the goods are sold out. If there were ever a good excuse to jump out of bed early on a Saturday though, these sweet vegan treats are it.
