This shop is not quite in the vintage realm, but stands apart, as everything inside the store is created by owner Meghan Kinney. The clothing is still funky, but a bit less messy than the bohemian style that’s typical of the Lower East Side, priding itself in its clean aesthetic. The inspiration for her designs are proclaimed to be influenced by movement and the shape of the garment on the body. Fashion-forward trends are also present in her shop, such as the clever use of color blocking. While she’s known for her dresses, the store boasts other lovely pieces, such as jumpsuits, made for downtown brunching, and billowing, form-flattering skirts. The customer service is flawlessly professional too. She’ll tailor a piece for you, and make alterations if you want it tweaked.
