Women's Health? Always In Style. Akris Hosts Fashion Show and Luncheon For The Weill Cornell Medical Center

Last Thursday at Cipriani 42nd St., a few of the (predominantly blonde) ladies who lunch turned out in their finest day wear for a special fashion show and luncheon to benefit women’s health at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The event, generously sponsored by Swiss fashion house Akris,was expected to raise $500,000 for the medical center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Lying In Hospital which is devoted solely to the care of women.
