PARKE Jeans

PARKE Jeans
Surpassing its Kickstarter goal by more than $40,000, PARKE Jeans has already garnered tons of top-notch media attention. From ABC News to Refinery 29, the buzz about these "technologically advanced" pants just seems to be getting louder. It all started when founder Solomon Liou began his mission to create durable, comfortable, and inexpensive denim. After testing out a dozen prototypes, Solomon hit the jean jackpot when he discovered the selvedge technique, an old-style way of weaving the fabric on shuttle looms by using one long, continuous thread. And though this mode of production is a bit pricier, it apparently creates dense and durable denim that'll out-last your typical skinnies. But what makes you want these jeans to last forever is their patented, bi-directional stretch comfort, obtained by using advanced core-spun yarns. While donations are now closed, you can get ready for PARKE's first line to launch in July 2013. For more information, go HERE. [Photo via]
