Background: Grew up in Brentwood, Tennessee. Played sports year round. Attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He didn’t know exactly what he wanted to do but he had a love for acting. “While there I had a major accident where I fell three stories off a roof and shattered my spine and broke a couple other bones. Had to drop out for a semester and lay in a full brace for 3 months (I'm talking anytime I had to, say pee, my mom had to come roll me on my side and hold a bucket for me. So...we got real close. Hah!). But I never should've survived, let alone walked after that so I had my 'AHA!' moment.” His mom’s friend was a model booker and thought he had a good look so he decided to go for it. “The past year I've worked very steady and had features in GQ, Esquire, Paper Magazine, to name a few and some major ads and many NYFW shows and presentations!”
Getting Into The Modeling World: His friends didn’t really understand what he was doing. “Starting out, you don't have many people you can turn to for advice. I didn't know what I was doing, if it was normal, but I had Google!” His first agent Jason helped him a lot and set him up with various shoots.
Where You Can Spot Him: Jacob loves hanging in Union Square and running around Battery Park. The Dream hotel and mostly anything in the meatpacking district. Please Don't Tell is one of his favorite spots as well as Doc Holiday's.They remind him of Nashville.
Favorite Cheat Meal: Chicago deep dish and his sister’s cheesecakes!
What Makes Him Swipe Right?: Jacob is single! He loves someone with confidence and someone who is able to have a witty conversation with him. He loves to laugh, so humor is very attractive. Having a passion for something is another beautiful quality.
Goals For The Future: Jacob has started getting back into acting in NYC. He plans on getting into acting school and taking lessons at night. He wants to travel to parts of Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. “Really I guess the answer is... To see and experience as much as possible along the way to reaching major films. I want to be on the big screen. So be on the look out for me in the near future!"
