All roads lead to SoHo... at least if you're Tory Burch it seems!
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, the fashion world hopeful moved to New York City, settling into an apartment in downtown's iconic artist enclave. Years later, in 2004, the neighborhood proved the perfect home for her first ever boutique.
Now, one of the biggest names in the industry, Tory Burch has officially returned to her old stomping grounds, opening a fabulous new flagship store at 151 Mercer Street.
“I could not be more excited about our Mercer Street store. It is an evolution of our retail aesthetic, and I have loved the creative process, combining a modern space with signature decorative elements and details that are personal to me. The downtown location feels like a homecoming, just a five-minute walk from where we opened our first boutique on Elizabeth Street."
To celebrate the stylish new location, the brand has designed the 151 Mercer collection, featuring eleven new handbags made in two unique shapes (a classic crescent and a deconstructed shoulder bag) and available in leather, suede, snakeskin and nylon.
Very effortless cool girl, Carolyn Bessett Kennedy chic, no?
Personally, we're dying over this suede style in Herb Garden green. Pure perfection!
Oh, and did we mention that the Mercer Street location will also carry an exclusive, limited-edition series of the brand's cult favorite Lee Radziwill Double bags which can be personalized with a monogram and date?
If you're on the handbag hunt, definitely run, don't walk to snap yours up - each bag will be numbered as there are only 25 of each style!
