East Village: Cure Thrift Shop
Manhattan's East Village is known to be an easy-going neighborhood with numerous dive bars, quaint alfresco restaurants, and thrift shops galore. But this is not your ordinary secondhand store. Advocating for young children and teenagers with diabetes, Liz Wolff, founder of Cure Thrift Shop, started this non-profit and philanthropic thrift to raise awareness and find an ultimate cure for diabetes.
You'll find designs by Diane von Furstenberg, Rebecca Taylor, and Alexander Wang, as well as Hermes scarfs, rare vintage electronics, and Manolo Blahniks - all for amazingly low prices!
