Bottega Veneta may have kicked off the trend (literally and figuratively) but it’s definitely hit the mainstream now. Which is no surprise, considering fall/winter was full of enormous stompy combat boots and pumped-up sneakers: volume is what it’s all about. The puffy sandal is a playful way to add some fun to a simple sundress or jeans. Everything from slides to dressier sandals are getting the puff treatment, and to the extreme.
