1. Create a wishlist
We've all been there - heart racing, frantically combing through rows and rows of identical cotton sundresses or denim shirts as we are continually reminded by notifications on our phone that we're running out of time. We enter the dressing room with a pile of ill-fitting pieces that are quickly discarded. An afternoon disappears, and we leave with nothing to show for it.
This doesn't have to be the narrative that plays out every time you want to grab some vintage digs. Think of a few pieces you're in the market for in advance. Keep the categories broad, so that there is room for a surprise. Having an idea of what you're interested in helps in narrowing down your search.
