Everyone knows that the best part about going out is getting dressed up, and the attendees at the parties Guest of a Guest covers usually do this with aplomb. Here are the people (and outfits) who made an impression on us this week?-

First Place: Cut Out Back At Fashion Fights Cancer

This dress combines some of our favorite things:

A) Shirtwaist dresses

B) Patterns that look like a heartbeat monitor or seismograph

C) backless cut-outs

Second Place: Lady In Red at Fashion Fights Cancer

We spent some time debating the actual shade of red of this dress. Cerise? Persimmon? Coquelicot? Finally, thanks to Wikipedia, we decided on "American Rose", which, we learned, is also called "American Beauty". Fitting, no?

We love the way the dress is gathered at the waist on this American beauty, the way the skirt seems to be in a perpetual "swish", and the way the dress is paired with strappy heels. Very pretty!

Third Place: Romping Around At Apotheke

Black black black black black black black...color!

Finally someone who isn't afraid to step away from the LBD (which yesterday was officially added to the Oxford Dictionary).

Her romper is really busy as it is, but this girl takes it a step further with a super colorful necklace.

Normally this would be a fashion don't, but in our opinion this girl pulls it off with a simple handbag. Very beach chic, and very summery.
