It was in a seedy-ish strip on the border of Chinatown with no other clubs in sight. And, it was THE place to be (well the OTHER place to be).
The "doorgirl" was a little hipster who looked like she was about 16 and was having a lot of fun with her newfound clipboard power. There was a long line outside that must have been an hour wait, and everyone was smoking and checking out each other's '80s-throwback outfits.

Inside it was densely packed. Jessica Stam hurriedly walked by, looking like she didn't want to be recognized. Kerry Cassidy was also present, perched on top of the stairs overlooking the venue and looking pretty (while being hit on by every other guy that walked by
The Americans, a fledgling New York-based band performed at midnight to a zealous crowd who couldn't get enough of them. The frontman reminded me of a young Terry Richardson if he had been a teenager in the 70s: heavy glasses, velvet suit, and a really endearing spastic dance. He had two female back-up singers wearing identical red dresses and swaying along in synchronized choreography.
The music kept on going throughout the night with guest DJs Rachel Chandler and Regency HiFi system. Altogether, a really damn goodparty.
