Keith Lissner, my friend and one of the most talented people I know has just been featured in Forbes. He was one of the Ten designers chosen in an article titled "Ten Undiscovered Designers On The Rise." He may be undiscovered to the Forbes set, but most of the NYC social set has had their eye on him for awhile now. He has dressed some of the hottest young celebrity girls and socialites over the months and its awesome to see his hard work being recognized. One day, I have no doubt that Keith Lissner will be as recognizable as Oscar de la Renta.
More from the article below:
On Keith: The line is a women"s ready-to-wear designer collection with inspiration from Victorianism, the belle époque era and the turn of the century. Lisner"s goal is to emphasize and empower the strongest part of a woman. Nakomis, the Earth-Mother figure in Algonquin legend, was also an inspiration in the collection and is a figure Lissner embroidered onto one of the gowns in the collection. The line is available at www.keithlissner.com.
