It was a busy week for Fallout Boy guitarist Pete Wentz. First, the guyliner-wearing musician celebrated his 30th birthday in Vegas, and last Thursday Wentz was honored by the JED Foundation for helping to spread the word about mental health and suicide at the organization's annual Mind Ball held at Guastavino's.
The event, hosted by a young Lily van der Woodsen, Brittany Snow, also honored HBO President of Documnetaries Shiela Nevins, featured music by DJ Jake Hoffman and a special concert by Custom of "Hey Mister" fame. Actress Heather Matarazzo and MTV 360's Stephen Friedman were among the presenters. The JED Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to ease emotional distress in young adults and reduce the suicide rate.
