What's In Wellness Guru Dria Murphy's Bag?

by Christie Grimm · December 10, 2020

Dria Murphy is the ultimate New York hustler! She's everywhere with her hands in everything, juggling the brands she's founded and those she helps to flourish.

So just what exactly does one of the busiest people we know carry throughout the day to make sure she stays on her A game? Well, you're going to want to take a few notes...

How would you describe what you do?
I am Founder and CEO of Alise Collective, a creative marketing company that takes a 360 approach to building brands. We specialize in decisive partnerships and innovative strategies to remain au courant in a changing, social landscape. I am also Co-Founder of the ness, a digital fitness platform specializing in beat-based trampoline cardio and muscle-sculpting classes.

What does your average work day look like?
No two days are the same for me.

At Alise Collective, we specialize in brand development and collaborations, decisive press placements, influencer seeding, retail curation, events, social media strategy, content creation and more - aka, every day is something new.

However, especially now working from home, I have definitely implemented rituals and habits to keep me grounded. I start my workdays with a matcha latte always and a trampoline bounce from the ness digital.

Bounce is the only workout I’ve ever found that truly clears my mind and acts as a form of meditation. I can’t think about anything else when I’m on the trampoline so I’m not focusing on my to-do list ahead. I always end my days with a walk by the water, which calms my mind and brings me back down.

    What's your work motto?
    Mindset is everything.

What's in your bag these days?

    Inner Beauty Cosmetics Balm
Clean beauty is so important but especially when you're putting something directly on your lips so that is why this lip balm is a go to for me. I always trust Inner Beauty Cosmetics and this lip balm has emollient shea butter, apricot oil, calendula flower extract and rosa moschata seed oil, which calm irritation, moisturize and restore the look and feel of delicate lip skin with a little shine.

    Avenova
This eyelid and lash cleansing spray is a life saver. It relieves against any chronic eye conditions that could come from staring at screens all day. And really, who isn't constantly glued to a screen?

It's also antimicrobial, so I also use it like a facial sanitizer when I'm out and about around town!

    Well Told Health Energy Booster
An OG in my routine, this supplement is made with only organic rhodiola rosea, beets, maca and matcha tea. It's an adaptogen that increases physical energy and supports mental focus. It doesn’t make me jittery and is perfect for those 3pm slumps.

    LivOn Labs Vitamin C
I love all of LivOn's supplements for different reasons but their Liposomal Vitamin C is my tried and true for immune support. Your body's white blood cells can absorb the vitamins more easily, which helps to increase your natural defence system. I'm always trying to boost my immunity and this is a staple in my routine.

    Crown Affair Comb
It's handmade in Switzerland from plant-based cellulose for wet or dry strands and all hair types. I keep this on hand for touch ups!

    Airpods
I have these in nonstop for calls and music throughout the day.

    Mask
    Because of course!

What are your wellness favorites at the moment?
On a daily basis I use Avenova Eyelid and Lash CleanserWell Told Health Anti-Inflammatory, The Well Superpowder and Prima: The Daily.

How would you describe your style?
My personal style reflects being born in California but is influenced by living in NYC. I def dress for my mood - West Coast, but polished.

What are you most excited for next?
Right now I am trying to live in the present as much as possible. I am very excited about seeing my immediate family over the holidays.
