In a place like New York where there are a lot of clones running around, it's nice to know that I can escape to a place where no two things are alike - and all things are unique. I am talking about Jamin-Puech of course, the uber fabulous French hand bag design company. Last night was the offical Jamin Puech 'housewarming' party at their new location on Prince & Elizabeth. I say housewarming because they are not new to New York; not even new to Nolita. They simply moved to a bigger location at the corner of Hot & Expensive in the getting more chic by the minute, Nolita. They were formerly located on Elizabeth between Prince & Houston, which I sadly did not know, despite having lived on Elizabeth street for the last 3 years. Good thing this hot new location is 3X bigger, so I can't miss it.
No one should miss it, actually. Or miss out. Jamin- Puech bags are AMAZING. Fun, festive, unique and original. My favorites are patchwork of different fabrics, leathers, metallics, cool hardware, unique shapes, inventive designs. Get on it! For real, no two are alike in the store and we could all use a little more one of a kind in our lives.
