Holographic Accents
The futuristic features of this season's runway continued with lustrous holographic accents at Christopher Kane. While the color palette was reasonably muted for the always-creative designer, Kane did find ways to add interest to his looks without overpowering them—a technique we could take from the catwalk to the sidewalk. From the "sterilized petal" details on many of his pieces to the rainbow-reflective finish of his footwear, holographic sheen makes a subtle, but powerful, statement.
