Peplum Suit
By far the most notorious noir duo, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall starred in four films together throughout the 1940s, after falling in love on the set of their first, "To Have and Have Not." It's plain to see Bogie's admiration of the then just 19-year-old Bacall in her ladylike peplum suit. Indeed, the fitted pencil skirt and flattering flare around the waist makes this look a smart and sophisticated choice for both in and out of the office.
